Oscars 2016 Trend Overview

The Oscars is the biggest award show every year. One of my favorites because it is also the biggest celebrity fashion event of the year. I prefer to watch the Red Carpet preshow than the actual awards show. (LOL!) I always imagined my dream Red Carpet gown to be a true show stopper! Elegant yet sexy, beautiful details, and probably black, red, or gold in color. It is nice to dream, isn't it? :-)

Anyway, the biggest trend of this year's Oscars, was jewel-toned gowns. Colors of sappire, emerald, ruby, and amethyst. Truly beautiful and can easily compliment any skintone. I can definitely see this trend move into the bridal market. What beautiful bridesmaid dresses!
